# Welcome to Hearsay

> What Hearsay does, how a survey goes from idea to repeat customers, and where to start in these docs.

Hearsay runs short customer feedback surveys and thanks the customers who answer with a coupon, so they come back to buy again. You build a survey, share its link where your customers are, and watch the answers come in.

## How it works

1. **Build a survey.** Start from a template, describe what you want and let AI draft it, or add questions yourself. See [Three ways to start a survey](https://docs.hearsay.co.in/build/start-a-survey).
2. **Reward the people who answer.** Give everyone one shared code, or a unique code each. See [Thank customers with a coupon](https://docs.hearsay.co.in/rewards/coupons).
3. **Share it.** Copy the link, print a QR code for your counter, add it to your website, or send it after a Shopify order. See [Survey links and channels](https://docs.hearsay.co.in/share/links-and-channels).
